Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Learnrollment platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including school administrators, enrichment providers, and families.

2. Description of Service

Learnrollment provides a platform for elementary schools to manage afterschool enrichment programs, including class registration, payment processing, attendance tracking, and communication between schools, providers, and families.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• You may not share your account with others or create accounts for anyone other than yourself (school administrators may create accounts on behalf of their school).

4. School Administrators

School administrators who use the Service agree to:

• Provide accurate information about their school and enrichment programs
• Set appropriate cancellation and refund policies for their programs
• Comply with applicable laws regarding student data and privacy
• Use the platform in a manner consistent with their school's policies

5. Families & Registration

• Parents or guardians register children for enrichment programs through the platform.
• By registering, you agree to the specific terms, cancellation policy, and fees set by the school.
• You are responsible for ensuring that all information provided about your child is accurate.
• Registration is subject to availability and may be placed on a waitlist if a class is full.

6. Payments & Fees

• Payments are processed securely through Stripe. By making a payment, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.
• Class fees are set by each school. Learnrollment charges a small service fee to families, displayed clearly before checkout.
• Refunds are subject to the cancellation policy set by the school for each program. Stripe processing fees are non-refundable.
• Schools receive payments directly through Stripe Connect. Learnrollment does not hold funds on behalf of schools.

7. Cancellations & Refunds

Each school sets its own cancellation and refund policy. When you register for a class, the school's policy is presented and you must accept it before completing registration. Refunds are processed according to the school's stated policy.

If a school cancels a class, families will receive a full refund minus any non-refundable processing fees.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Upload malicious code or content
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to access the Service without permission

9. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Learnrollment and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Schools retain ownership of their program content and data.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We are not responsible for the content, quality, or safety of enrichment programs offered by schools or providers.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Learnrollment shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms. Schools may request account deletion by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
